 SITE AMENITIES

Amenities/Facilities On Site

Here at Maesymeillion Farm we have been developing our amenities which have been increasing on an ongoing basis since we opened our doors for camping back in 2010.

At that time we did not have the luxury of separate toilet and showers, instead campers used to use our own bathroom facilities during their stay with us.

Since then we have/are:

  • Developed our showers and toilets (initially as a unisex facility) and now as a separate ladies and men area).

  • Put up a limited number of electrical hook-up points

  • Opened our communal area for sitting and chilling

  • Opened our kitchen area for cooking of meals and preparation of food

  • Purchased a washing machine and tumble dryer (we do make a cost for use of these items)

  • Purchased a large commercial washer and tumble dryer (which is great for large bedding etc.,).

  • Building a drying area to hang leathers, gloves, rain jackets and camping gear.

  • Purchased toasters, kettles, counter top ovens, microwaves and soup kettles to increase capacity for our guests and enable hot meals to be prepared on cold/wet days.

  • Purchased an extra ice machine to try to keep up with demand.

  • Put a number of firepits out for use on site

  • Placed electric sockets and USB sockets within the common room area for charging equipment.

  • Hairdryers available for use.

  • Irons for use in the communal area.

  • We have a range of items available on site offering shaving foam, shower gel, shampoo, baby wipes, nappy bags, black bin liners, washing line, water carriers, camping stove, travel mugs, toilet additives, toothpaste, deodorants, tea towels, firelighters, logs, BBQ coals, cans of pop, crisps, chocolate, hook up cables, and such like.

We appreciate that every family/individual may have differing needs regarding the amenities/facilities that they require, therefore in the next 24 months we plan to further develop our facilities to meet ever changing demands.

Our site offers only 10 amp hook up facilities for the purpose of charging mobile phones, small camping fridge, laptops and alike and not for high wattage equipment.  Please see our electric hook up page for further information on this prior to booking with us.

Please Note: we do not allow electric heating, electric cooking equipment or kettles on our hook up points due to our electrical system being unable to accommodate these and due to fire risk.
